DESCRIPTION

Why You Should Go

Tour Duration: 5 hours

Join us for an unforgettable tour of Magnolia Plantation, the Lowcountrys ultimate garden experience! Dating from 1676 and open to the public since 1870, this plantation and its world-famous gardens have been owned by the Drayton family for 12 generations.

The guide will drop you off at the plantation where you will be greeted by plantation staff members who will guide you through the Magnolia House tour. After the house tour, you have plenty of time to experience the Audubon Swamp Garden, learn about the history and culture of the African American settlers and meet some of the rescued indigenous species in the Wildlife Center. You can then join your exclusive Nature Train or Boat Tour, or just enjoy the peace and calm as you roam around the plantation at your leisure.
